As more districts are implementing openly licensed instructional material, the need to create OER Users’ Groups to share ideas, best practices and implementation resources is critical.

In 2015, Educational Service District 113 received a grant from the Open Educational Resources (OER) Project at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to assemble a statewide task force to create a vision and provide the foundation of this EngageNY Mathematics Users’ Group. Currently, Puget Sound Educational Service District has grant funding from the OER Project to facilitate the further growth and development of this user group. Bethel School district plays a leadership role in the creation of this resource and provides ongoing hosting of the user group site.

The following districts collaborated in the design and structure of this site:
  • Bethel School District
  • Federal Way Public Schools
  • Ocosta School District
  • Raymond School District
  • Spokane Public Schools
  • Stanwood Camano School District
  • Longview School District
  • Moses Lake School District
  • Tacoma School District
  • Yelm School District

The following organizations provided project support and facilitation:
  • Educational Service District 113
  • Puget Sound Educational Service District
  • Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction – OER Project

We express our gratitude to all the educator contributors to this effort. Without their support and expertise, this resource would not be possible
